Peace Valley is owner-run and hosted by Liz and Iggy. It's built around the idea that the best kind of rest takes more than a comfortable bed.
10 000 square metres of gardens are yours to explore, with a wetland running through the property. Regular visitors include grey herons, malachite and giant kingfishers, hamerkop, steppe buzzards, sunbirds and moorhens.
The ecosystem also supports a weaver colony, and at night the sounds of frogs, nightjars and owls drift up to the house. If you're lucky you may even spot our resident marsh mongoose catching a crab.
Our signature suite opens onto a large private balcony overlooking the garden, the village rooftops, and the hills beyond. Our Alpine-inspired loft sleeps four, and with its wooden panelling and dormer windows, it feels like stepping into a story.
All our rooms are self-catering with access to a fully equipped kitchen. Step outside to find an entertainment terrace with a braai and swimming pool.

Liz and Iggy will be on hand throughout your stay. We have two friendly dogs, Senka and Tycho, who'll happily say hello but otherwise keep to themselves.
